Client Reviews

“I would highly recommend Nicole Guitar. She helped me prep for birth and heal and restore my pelvic floor postpartum. Immediately I felt comfortable in her care. She takes the time to explain how everything works and appointments never felt rushed. It's rare to find a healthcare practitioner who is just as focused on preventative care as well as treatment. I can't imagine what my birth prep and postpartum healing experiences would have looked like without her.”

“Therapy with Nicole is exceptional. I really appreciate that she explains fully the 'why' we're doing something. She's very knowledgeable and had great advice for going back to my GP with recommendations. She's very kind and professional. All women should have access to a pelvic floor therapist like Nicole.”

— Brandy R

“What an incredible experience. Nicole was recommended to me by a friend and I understand why. Nicole is both professional and caring. The appointment was thorough and informative with all of my questions answered. I was not sure what to expect but it exceeded my expectations. I left with a clear plan to improve my pelvic floor health and I feel equipped to make some positive change.”

— Jen T

“Nicole was very friendly, professional and knowledgable! She was able to address my concerns and quickly come up with a physio plan that resolved my issue after just one visit. I highly recommend her!”

— Emily D

“I myself am a retired physiotherapist. I find Nicole to be very knowledgeable and competent. She takes her time and in no way do I feel rushed at all. She answers all my questions directly at my appointment and is always available via email to answer anything further or help if I run into any issues. She explains things thoroughly such that I feel very comfortable continuing my program at home between visits. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is requiring this type of service”

Virtual Physiotherapy

In an effort to provide accessible service, I offer virtual Tele-rehabilitation physiotherapy as an option for all appointments. This involves the delivery of physiotherapy services at a distance usually using the internet and a camera on a computer or smartphone, but also includes telephone appointments. Virtually, I am able to provide individualized consultation and assessment, exercise prescription and progression, and education. You will not be able to receive manual or hands-on therapies, but you can still be assessed and begin a rehabilitation program virtually. I have experience working at Western University’s eMPWR Tele-health clinic (electronic Multidisciplinary Pelvic and Women’s Rehabilitation) and we found excellent patient outcome were achieved virtually in a similar time-frame. Tele-health is a great option for convenience (e.g., due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and for people postnatally). Tele-rehabilitation is covered under most insurers, you can confirm with yours!
